A 30-minute talk by Veronica Veen about her more than 35 years of cultural anthropological fieldwork in Gozo on women’s history, their life experiences and, most especially, oral storytelling, as recorded and documented in a series of books: Female Images of Malta: Goddess, Giantess, Farmeress (1994), The Maltese Cinderella and the Women’s Storytelling Tradition (2017), and Luċija Tells… Women’s History and experience of Life on Gozo, Malta (2020).
